Piet Bakkes and myself (Paul van Wyk) decided to open a new panel beating business in Cape Town. We initially purchased a franchise, but soon realised that we were better educated and experienced to run our own business. We developed a new name and image for our business called acciDent Guru in Paarden Eiland.

We decided to contract Rudi Schlieben from Equadoor Web Design & Marketing Servicesto assist us with the development of the website and electronic marketing campaign. From the outset, we were very impressed and satisfied with the service received from Rudi and his team. Apart from the fact that we were struggling to find time (while getting the business up and running) to share the relevant information with Rudi, we were surprised when he managed to set up an excellent looking website that has received very favourable comments from our clients. Rudi also managed to market our business on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter and search engines like Google.

Although we hardly had any time to give Rudi the relevant input into the demo website, he still managed to adapt it to our needs and preference by researching other similar international websites. We recently found more time to spend on the website and we were also pleasantly surprised by the “user-friendliness” of the management of the website. Apart from the fact that we are perhaps “technologically challenged” when it comes to e-business and IT matters, we found the website very easy to work with and to do updates, from loading new photo’s to adding additional text and pages.
